A customer’s view of your business

Good businesses can be hard to find.

Wrong hours. Unclear services. An outdated listing. A booking button that leads nowhere. Customers may encounter these details before they ever speak with you.

We check whether your public information gives people a clear, accurate picture of what you do, where you work, and how to contact you—including what appears in a sample of AI-assisted searches.

Useful for local shops, restaurants, trades, and service businesses with capacity to handle new inquiries.

Customer Discoverability Audit

$199. A clear picture and three next steps.

Know what deserves attention before spending more on marketing or website work.

  • Google and Maps: public profile accuracy, hours, services, reviews, and the next step for customers.
  • Your website: up to three existing pages, with a look at service clarity, contact paths, and obvious discoverability barriers.
  • Search and AI: six customer questions sampled on Google Search and one agreed AI search tool, with dated observations.
  • Three local alternatives: a focused comparison of how they explain their offer and help customers get in touch.

What you receive

A 3–5 page report, a five-area diagnostic scorecard, supporting evidence, your three priority improvements, and a 20-minute walkthrough.

Timing: report within five business days after payment and complete intake. The walkthrough is scheduled separately. One clarification round is included for questions submitted within seven days.

One website, one location or service area, and one primary service or product category. The public audit needs no account passwords. It includes recommendations; repairs are a separate next step.

Discoverability Repair

$750 total, including your audit.

Put up to three agreed corrections into practice.

After the audit, we check access and agree a fixed repair checklist. Your $199 audit fee counts toward the package when booked within 30 days for the same business and scope. That leaves $551 to pay for the repair stage.

Choose the repairs that matter

  • Business profile: an accuracy pass on your existing Google Business Profile.
  • Website clarity: improve one existing page with up to 500 words of service, location, or FAQ copy, plus its title and description.
  • Contact path: repair one existing call, email, form, or booking route using your current tools.
  • Listing consistency: correct information on up to two existing, accessible listings.
  • Basic discoverability settings: correct an identified indexing or crawl-setting issue through existing website controls, where feasible.

Each bullet is one repair item. We agree up to three before starting; an additional existing page can use another item. Major technical work and new systems receive a separate quote.

What completion looks like

Before-and-after evidence, live links or platform status, checked contact paths, and an owner maintenance checklist. Includes a 20-minute handoff, one correction round within seven days, and one 30-day recheck of changed items and the original search sample where available.

Timing: target ten business days after scope, access, approved content, and repair payment are complete. Listing reviews and other platform approvals can take longer; pending changes are identified clearly.

Ask about audit and repair

A useful report, not a mystery score

Every finding should lead to an action.

Your scorecard covers identity accuracy, service clarity, discovery access, trust and evidence, and the contact path. It is our diagnostic—not a Google or AI rating.

Illustrative finding · not a client result

The customer finds two different closing times.

Evidence: the business profile and website disagree.

Action: confirm current hours with the owner, correct the agreed destinations, and assign responsibility for holiday updates.

Verification: save dated before-and-after evidence and mark any listing still awaiting approval as pending.

Will this get me recommended by AI?

We improve the information and paths you can control. Search results and AI answers vary with the question, location, tool, and time. No particular ranking, recommendation, citation, traffic increase, or sales result is guaranteed. The audit records a sample, not every possible result.

What do you actually fix?

The repair package covers up to three agreed items from the menu above. It does not include a website rebuild, new pages, account recovery, suspension appeals, ads, ongoing SEO, custom integrations, or third-party fees. You approve the scope and public changes first.

How is this different from the $500 marketing setup?

This offer checks and corrects how people find and contact you. Main Street Marketing Setup helps you decide who to reach, which channels to use, and what to do each week. We recommend the right starting point and reuse existing findings.

Do I have to buy the repair package?

No. Your audit stands on its own. Use the three priority improvements yourself, share them with your current provider, or ask us to implement the agreed repairs.

What if my accounts or website are difficult to access?

We can begin with the public audit. Before accepting a repair project, we confirm access and feasibility. Platform verification and complex technical issues may need the owner or a specialist.
